iBooks Author / iTunes U app signs of student-centric learning? @ClayChristensen Disrupting Class?

Clay Christensen expects tutoring tools to be of the first step of student-centric learnings. See this illustration from his book:

iBooks Author is a iWorks-like tool to create textbooks for iPads that can contain text, pictures, video and 3D animation. It can also do simple assessments through quizzes.
iTunes U app, together with iBooks 2, let the teacher create courses containing ebooks, documents, videos, where checkmarks can indicate the teacher on what has been consumed.

To me, it seems like we have got an Apple take on the student-centric learning disruption!

Just to paraphrase myself: while reading Clay Christensen let us see disruption unfolding in the past,

Apple make us experience disruption live!
